Battle Road Cleanup & Dedication

A dedication of Battle Road, following a volunteer and City cleanup, to honor the brave men from Woburn who marched along that road toward Lexington and Concord on April 19, 1775, to join the revolutionary fight against British Forces in pursuit of a new independent nation. A new stone monument will be unveiled during a ceremony and collation at the Briscoe Street entrance at 10 a.m. The Woburn Historical Society and Woburn Historical Commission will also present a new brochure with the Battle Road history and the list of Woburn men who served. Parking in the Tarky School parking lot on Russell Street.
